Comments, Complaints & Compliments

We welcome both positive and negative feedback to the surgery.  This helps us shape our service to meet patient needs.  We meet weekly and discuss all feedback received.

Feedback is welcomed to the practice by telephone, email or in writing.  Details above.  

HOW TO COMPLAIN

We welcome the opportunity to deal with your complaint immediately, however, if you feel dissatisfied with our service and feel you want to complain, please put this in writing (either letter or email, details above) for the attention of our practice manager or any of the GP's.  It is important that complaints are raised as soon as possible after the event, while it's still fresh in everyone's mind.  Complaints will be accepted up to 6 months after the event.  This may be extended to 12 months, where the circumstances justify doing so.

We will provide a full response to your complaint within 10 working days of receiving your complaint.  You will receive an acknowledgement of your complaint within 3 working days.

 

Please note that the practice cannot accept complaints about other services, eg. hospital, out of hours or other NHS services.  Details on how to do this can be found on the NHS Inform website.
